The trip to Beaudesert, and the wait for the last race on a 9 event program, were all worth it to see Azzareach record a comfortable all-the-way win in the Class 5 Handicap over 1400m.

The son of Outreach was partnered with Noel Callow and the pair wasted were prominent early before taking up the running in their own right.

Callow kept Azzareach under a good hold before releasing the brakes approaching the final bend and run to the judge.

With his rivals trying to pick up ground whilst navigating the tight home-turn, it gave Azzareach and Callow the opportunity to establish a margin that unable to be bridged, in fact, Callow was able to sit and allow Azzareach to cruise through the line for his sixth career win – making it a strike rate of 33%!

The win took Azzareach’s career prizemoney to over $130,000!
